BACHELORETTE PARTY IN MIAMI
My sisters bachelorette weekend felt like a dream. Our favorite hotel, all of her close friends, strong drinks, and palm trees… what more could that girl ask for right?! My mom and I did plan a pretty great weekend if I do say so myself. MY BABY SISTER was not about to have a low-key party before she married the man of her dreams!
PICKING THE DESTINATION
If my sister and I had to pick again where we would want to go for her bachelorette party, we would have 100% picked Miami, Florida over, and over again. We have taken family vacations there, so it’s sort of a home away from home and we know the area pretty well. ANYWAYS! Getting into the good stuff, can you think of a better spot to have a girls trip? We stayed at the Fontainebleau and let me just say this hotel has everything to offer not to mention its beautiful. The fitness center overlooks the pool, the restaurants are fantastic, and if you love a good night club, Club LIV is right inside! We stayed at the Bowtie & Oasis pool during the day and also the Arkadia day club (21+ adult only pool). I would recommend getting down there quick in the morning to get a good chair by the big pool because let me tell ya MIAMI doesn’t sleep. People are filling up the front row of chairs pretty early.
WHO MADE THE CUT
Let’s just say this girl brought her best friends and part of her sorority house. Myself and my mom, and her soon to be sister in law.
What went down
Bachelorette weekend was Friday-Sunday (Monday for a few of us.) When we got there Friday we lounged by the pool as we waited for the rest of the girls to arrive. Once everyone got there we all were catching up and lets just say the expensive drinks kept on coming. We ended up doing an early chill dinner at LA CÔTE right by the pool. That was probably the best idea for the first day with people getting in later so that we didn’t have to rush for anything. That night we went out locally and ended up at the BLEAU BAR inside of the hotel. This is one of my favorite spots to hang at because it’s a who’s who bar. A year prior to this trip we saw Eva Longoria filming a TV show in the main entrance area right next to the the BLEAU BAR. That’s what I mean when I say who’s who. ;)
Saturday we woke up and made mimosas, we were all ready to get the party started. Some of us got breakfast at VIDA which is pricey but the food is so good. We pretty much spent the day at the pool and beach and around noon we headed to the ARKADIA pool. That evening was our big night out so sis was in her white dress while we wore our black dresses. We went to dinner at AMERICAN SOCIAL, which I absolutely loved. I made sure to get a table outside because it’s right by the water, it was so cool seeing all of the boats driving by as we ate our dinner. After dinner we headed to CLUB LIV, I am not going to lie the place was packed, I mean it was a fun time if you stayed in the upper level. If you went down to the main floor you weren’t really able to move, you were stuffed in there.
Sadly come Sunday morning it was time for most to head out. For a few of us that were staying one more day, we soaked up the sun as much as we could before it was time for us to leave Monday. I highly recommend staying at the FONTAINEBLEAU, and I cannot wait to go back. The best part about this trip, is that my sister was celebrated by her favorite people. She had such a great weekend and a successful bachelorette party. My mom and I worked so hard to make sure it was everything she could ever want. Not to mention her bad a$$ friends, they made sure to bring the fun and they weren’t leaving Miami without making sure Ashley had an absolute blast. CHEERS SMASHLEY!
